Purpose of the project:
|
Renovation of the exposition in the school local historical museum "Archeology of our land" in order to organize excursions for students, local residents, guests from the surrounding areas and foreign citizens

Tasks of the project:
|
– to make available unique materials, collected in the school museum, which highlight the historical past of the Bobruisk region and demonstrate its more than nine thousand years of history for a greater number of people;
- to create conditions for increasing historical literacy and the formation of patriotic qualities of the younger generation;
- to promote the upbringing of a sense of patriotism in the younger generation, respect for the heritage of their people

Detailed description of the project activities according to the tasks:

- to update the exposition "Archeology of our land"
- to make a major overhaul of the premises;
- to purchase or manufacture specialized furniture (stands, cabinets, archaeological display cases);
- to create an exposition layout
Presentation of the project ""Horizons of three eras" with the aim to attract more visitors to the museum:
– organization of promotional events;
– media coverage of project activities;
– cooperation with travel agencies;
– design of advertising booklets and their publication;
Target group: students and teachers of educational institutions, residents of the Bobruisk region, citizens of the Republic of Belarus and foreign citizens, who wish to enrich their knowledge of history and archeology.
Number of participants: 15-20 people
Expected results: to increase interest of the younger generation in studying the history of the native region, to develop the skills of search and project research activities.

Reasoning of the project:
|
Participants of the school club "Search" collected and systematized material about large-scale excavations conducted in 1996-1998 on the territory of the school district under the leadership of the archaeologist M.I. Lashenkov and with the participation of students of the educational institution. Today, excavation materials are in demand by students in the implementation of research activities and extracurricular work.
On condition that this material will receive the correct demonstration, it may be of interest to a wide audience.
